“And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’””
Matthew 1:21-23 NLT
Day Nine: God is With Me
Did you know that you have so much of God’s favor that He wants to be with you forever? The name of Jesus means “Immanuel” meaning God is with you. Isn’t it great to know that the “Living God” wants to be with you always. This means that He is with you no matter what you are facing. He never leaves you, even for just a moment. He is that faithful.
All the struggles you face, He is there with you. All the self-effort you do, He is there with you. Nothing can drive Him away. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. One thing about Jesus is that He is faithful to be with you. When you are weak and you cannot go on, He will pick you up and carry you.
Sickness and diseases should not trouble you. Why, you ask? It is because He has already defeated them for you. This is how much He cares for you.
To know that He is always there with you, will give you strength. Even when everyone else thinks there is no hope and they leave you, Jesus will never walk away from you. This is how much He loves you.
What does it mean when God says that He is with you? It means that you are going to be successful in everything that you do and say.
Whenever God’s presence was with Israel, they were protected and always victorious. They were never defeated. No enemy was able to overcome them. No sickness or disease was able to hold them. When they were in the presence of God they were invincible.
When Jesus is with you only goodness can come.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
Pray: “Father thank You that You always hear me when I call to You. Thank You that You are always with me through thick or thin. Thank You that You always want to be with me.”
Declare this: “I am always in the Father’s presence. He is always with me. No sin or sickness can hurt me, because I am loved and protected by God Himself.”
