Day 6: God Saves Me
“But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.””
Matthew 1:20-21 NKJV
In Hebrew the name “Jesus” is “Yeshua.” This is name of God. It is translated to mean that “God is our savior.”
Every time that you call the name of Jesus, you are calling God to save you. Saving you is what God desires to do. Whatever crisis that you are in, whatever problem that you have, and whatever circumstance that is before you, God comes to your rescue when you call upon Jesus.
You have so much to gain when you learn the names of God. Learning the names of God are great, but they mean nothing until you call upon the name of Jesus to save you from your sins.
As you know God is all powerful, but His power is useless unless you believe that He is only interested in your success. What you need is the full revelation that you have a Savior who loves you so much that He was willing to pay the ransom for your sins, that payment is death. Yes, Jesus came to save you from your sins. What is He famous for? To save you!
What is it that you need saving from? Call upon Jesus’ name and He will save you.
Pray: “Father thank You that You hear me when I pray. Thank You that You loved me so much that You saved me from my sins. Thank You that no problem is too little or too great for You to save me from. I receive all wisdom, protection, and provision so that I am successful in everything that I do. Thank You Jesus for everything that You have already done…Amen.”
Declare this: I have Jesus in my life, therefore, I have salvation from every circumstance.
